CHEMICAL CONTROL is a research and consultancy centre and chemical, physico-chemical, microbiological and molecular biology analysis laboratory specialized for competence in the following food areas:

SHORT HISTORY


Founded in 1979, Chemical Control has today a highly qualified staff and a technologically innovative analytical equipment with about 4000 mq of laboratories organized according to GLP (Good Laboratory Practices).
Nowadays it collaborates with important companies in the food field and with national and foreign retailers.

 

RECOGNITIONS


QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CERTIFIED ACCORDING TO UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 STANDARD
: Certification of quality management system in conformity with UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 standard  (CSQA Certification n. 032 - IQ-Net Registration n°IT-4711, first issue dated 06/11/1997, current issue available in CSQA web site www.csqa.it), applied to design and provision of "Research services, chemical, physicochemical and microbiological analysis, customer assistance in the agro-food industry".
 
 
SINAL ACCREDITATION: SINAL (Sistema Nazionale per l'Accreditamento di Laboratori) accreditation n° 0490 in compliance with UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standard referred to the a huge number of tests in the different analytical divisions (food chemistry, contaminants checks, hygiene and molecular biology, water analysis).
 
 
 
AUTHORIZATION FOR SELF-CHECKING OF FOODSTUFFS: Authorization by the Ministry of Health (prot. n. D.G.V.A./V/25742/8 of 25/08/2004) to perform self-checking analyses on the following food products:
  • living bivalve mussels according to D.Lgs. 530/92
  • fish products according to D.Lgs. 531/92
  • minced meat and meat dishes according to D.P.R. 309/98 (ex D. Lgs. 227/92)
  • meat-based products according to D.Lgs. 537/92
  • egg products according to D.Lgs. 65/93
  • fresh meat products according to D.Lgs. 286/94
  • milk and dairy products according to D.P.R. 54/97
  • foodstuffs intended for special diets according to D.P.R. 131/98
  • fresh poultry meat according to D.P.R. 495/97.
 
REGISTRATION IN THE LIST OF THE LABORATORIES OF PIEMONTE REGION WHICH PERFORM ANALYSES FOR FOODS SELF-CHECKING PLANS: Authorized laboratory (registration n. 14) to perform analyses for foods self-checking plans according to D.Lgs. 155/97, in compliance with D.G.R. n°26-13680 of 18/10/2004 (Determinazione della Direzione Sanità Pubblica n°71 of 17/05/05).
By virtue of this registration, according to the Agreement of 17/06/04 between the Ministry of Health and the Regions, the laboratory is authorized to perform analyses for foods self-checking plans for food companies alla over the Italian territory.
 

LABORATORY RECOGNIZED BY PIEMONTE REGION TO CARRY OUT ANALYSES FOR “QUALITY MILK” PROGRAM  

AUTHORIZATION FOR ANALYSES ON MEDICATED FEEDSTUFFS: Authorization by the Ministry of Health to carry out qualitative and quantitative analyses on medicated feedstuffs and intermediate products according to D.M. of 16/11/93 (prot. n. 8132 of 17/09/96).
 
MINISTRY OF UNIVERSITY, SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNOLOGICAL RESEARCH: Registration in the board of qualified laboratories for scientific and technological research as HIGHLY QUALIFIED LABORATORY recognized by MURST (ex. Art. 4, Legge n. 46/82, D.M. 16/06/83).
 
AUTHORIZATION FOR OFFICIAL ANALYSES ON OILS: Authorization by the Ministry of Food Agricultural and Forest Politics to carry out analyses on oils, with official value, in all national area, only for the tests indicated in attachment to the decree (Decreto Ministeriale of 09/11/2006). 
 
JAPANESE MINISTRY OF HEALTH: Authorisation of the Laboratory (Laboratory n. 216) to carry out analyses on foodstuffs and beverages for exportation (fax. n. 0947 of 09/07/99).    
 
ASSOBIRRA AUTHORIZATION: Authorization by ASSOBIRRA (Beer and Malt Industrials Association) for quantitative PCR analysis on corn (communication n. 64/00 S of 18/10/00) and for traceability of GMO-free corn  (audit of 22/03/02 c/o CHEMICAL CONTROL).
 
 

PROFICIENCY TESTING


The constant and continuative participation in the most prestigious national and international proficiency testing in food analysis is the best warranty to our costumers of the reliability of the analytical results and of the mantainance during the time of the professional competence of the collaborators.
 
The main ring tests which we participate in, in the different analytical areas, are the following:
  • FAPAS Program: nutritional, contaminants residues, PCB, allergens analyses
  • Proficiency testing ARPA Emilia Romagna: pesticides residues analysis
  • Proficiency testing QM (Quality in Microbiology Scheme): microbiological analyses
  • Proficiency testing Senate: GMO analysis, water microbiological analyses
  • Proficiency testing BIPEA: filth test and GMO analyses
  • Proficiency testing CALITAX: water analyses
